Application
Application Method: Polyester Brush / High Density Foam Roller / Conventional Spray or Airless Spray
For DIY Users, we recommend to apply using high density foam roller, also known as dense foam paint roller. Apply smoothly and allow to hard dry for a minimum of 4 hours before applying the next coat. Sand the Magnetic Paint surface with sand paper (suggest 240 or 100 sand paper depends on the condition) to smoothen and create a level surface. Reapply the next coat smoothly and sand when hard dry. We recommend to apply at least three coats of Rainbow Magnetic Paint. Use roller tray or paint pan to prevent under-loading or over-loading of roller. We suggest interval application of the coating in vertical, then horizontal direction to reduce streak, drips and lap marks. Repeat the application direction when more coat is required. Test on the Magnetic attraction when complete. The thickness of the Magnetic coat affect the magnetic attraction directly. Let it dry for at least 24 hours beforecovering it with a topcoat (drying times differ due to humidity and room temperature).
